Julio César Enciso Espínola, born on January 23, 2004, in Caaguazú, Paraguay, is a professional footballer known for his versatility as an attacking midfielder and winger. He began his football journey with Club Libertad’s youth academy, making his senior debut at the age of 15. During his tenure with Libertad, he made 55 appearances and scored 18 goals, contributing to the team’s success in securing consecutive Apertura titles in 2021 and 2022.

In June 2022, Enciso transferred to Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League. He made his Premier League debut in October 2022 and scored his first league goal in April 2023. Notably, his long-range strike against Manchester City in May 2023 was honored as the Premier League Goal of the Season.

Internationally, Enciso debuted for the Paraguay national team during the 2021 Copa América. As of November 2024, he has earned 23 caps and scored 2 goals for his country. In January 2025, he joined Ipswich Town on loan for the remainder of the 2024–25 season.
